Nexar’s CityStream™
Nexar’s CityStream™ digitizes the public domain by providing street level car-sourced information in real-time, including congestion, traffic patterns, infrastructure defects, road hazards, and collision instances.
The data is delivered as a stream of valuable information to municipalities and transportation partners which leverage it to improve ridesharing applications, infrastructure management, traffic management, and roadway maintenance.
How It Works
The Nexar Open Vehicle Network of connected cars captures and localizes the city’s dynamics as part of its AI dashcam functionality.
The stream of data is processed by computer-vision algorithms, which identify and extract real-time insights on road conditions, traffic patterns, obstacles and infrastructure.
This anonymized data is distributed through an interface that municipalities and applications can subscribe to in accordance to the desired data profile and territory.
